Masterclasses

Here is your chance to establish a personal connection with one of our Keynote Speakers, either Alec Couros or Kathy Schrock by attending a Masterclass.

Our third Masterclass option is a very special opportunity to work with Google's Educational Evangelist, Suan Yeo and a group of Google Certified Teachers.

The three Masterclasses are held concurrently. You'll have to decide which one to attend! They are an opportunity for you to personally participate in a hands-on and informative learning with renowned international practitioners. Social Networking services often get the bad rap of 'time-wasters ‘or distractors. Yet, there are many social networks built upon passion, kindness, transparency, sharing and collaboration. This session will explore these positive human networks as they apply to educators. Participants will learn how educator networks are transforming practice through the development of Personal Learning Networks. They will learn the most commonly used tools and techniques to support teaching and learning through social media. And, perhaps most importantly, participants will leave with the capability to extend and enhance their learning about this vital topic beyond the duration of the workshop.
